Ooey Gooey Critters*

The Masterpiece:

These crunchy critters are those who realize that a dessert’s beauty is more than skin deep — especially when it’s smothered in chocolate.

Melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips in a microwave or heavy saucepan.
Stir until mixture has a smooth consistency.
Measure out 1/2 cup of pretzel sticks and break them into smaller pieces.
Fold in 1/2 cup of broken pretzels sticks, 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows, and peanuts into chocolate and butterscotch mixture until well coated.
Drop rounded tablespoons of mixture onto a waxed paper-lined baking sheet.
Before your critters cool too much, give them each two unbroken pretzel antennae and two marshmallow eyes.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm to the touch.
Let your critters melt in your mouth and wash them down with a glass of cold milk.
